Louis Glenn Littlejohn

August 22, 1937 — April 26, 2011

Louis Glenn Littlejohn, 73, passed away April 26 in Charleston, SC with his children by his side. The son of Louis E. Littlejohn and Nan Fitzgerald, he was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.


Glenn moved to Indialantic, FL in 1956 and graduated from Melbourne High School where he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Marcia Hoskins and attended The Citadel in South Carolina.  After several years as an engineering supervisor with Boeing at Cape Canaveral, FL, he was Vice President of Bill Daniels & Associates, located in Denver, Colorado and President of Diversified Electronics of Cocoa Beach, FL. A councilman and later Mayor of Indialantic, FL he moved to Holly Hill, SC in 1980 and owned an accounting firm. Former president of the Holly Hill Lions Club and Chairman of the Holly Hill Planning & Zoning Board, he continued his service to his local community.


Glenn's love of family, the sea and history were his prides and passions. He will be remembered as a true gentleman and for his tireless sense of humor. 


Surviving are his mother, Nan Buck Auletto; a daughter, Lee Given (Chris) Orangeburg, SC; two sons, Cromwell Littlejohn of Ft. Lauderdale and Lance Littlejohn (Susan) of Melbourne Beach, FL; a sister, Liska Albor of Miami; and eight grandchildren.
