Lorraine Lillian Mullaney, 95, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Her Prayers of Final Commendation and Rite of Committal will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD on Friday, November 22 at 1:00 pm.. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Lorraine was born November 3, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Alva Joseph Sevigny and the late Lillian May Mineau Sevigny. Lorraine gave the valedictory address in French to her graduating class at St. Charles High School in Providence. A devoted sister, wife, mother and grandmother, Lorraine will be remembered for the way she loved her family and friends.
She is survived by two children, Gary Mullaney (Nancye) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Diane Rodichok of West Virginia; seven grandchildren, Maureen Tokarczyk (Jason), Elizabeth Brown (Christopher), Lillian Schnitzer (Isaac), Tom O'Connor, Timothy Mullaney, Anne Rohrback and Kaitlyn Rohrback Sirman; 11 great grandchildren; and brother, Raymond Sevigny of Warwick, RI. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph L. Mullaney; four children, Michael Mullaney, Susan O'Connor, Karen Rockhill and Kathy Rohrback; and two grandchildren, Kerry Mullaney and Joe O'Connor.
