Lona Ann Lacour, wife of Joe Schmitt of North Charleston, South Carolina died Sunday, November 25, 2012. The relatives and friends of Lona Ann Lacour are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. FUNERAL CHAPELS AND CREMATORY, MOUNT PLEASANT LOCATION at 3:00 pm. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

Lona Ann was born February 17, 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of Lona C. Lacour and the late Albert A. Lacour, Jr. She was On Air Talent for several local radio stations. Her voice was enjoyed by many Charlestonians through morning broadcasts.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Schmitt of North Charleston, SC; son, Will Schmitt; mother, Lona C. Lacour of Anderson, SC; brother, Albert A. Lacour, III and wife, Laura, of Ravenel, SC; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Art Lacour.
