Lois Anne Work, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Joseph Harris Work entered into eternal rest Monday, February 23, 2015. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 26, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Private graveside service will be held later in Carolina Memorial Park.

Lois was born January 9, 1927 in St. Petersburg, Florida, daughter of the late Ralph Dally and Sadie Hill Dally. She served in the US Army Nursing Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant and retired from Roper Hospital as a Registered Nurse.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Anne Caudle of Summerville, SC; three granddaughters, Patti Abbott of Jackson, TN, Carla McDonald of Charleston, SC, Jennifer Work Morgan of Chattanooga, TN; five great-grandchildren Tanner Ivey, Alison Ivey, Joseph Stanley, Bailey Klein, Juliana Morgan, and her beloved pet Chloe. Lois was predeceased by a step-son Patrick Work.
