Lois Catherine Perry

Lois Padgett Perry, 100, of St. George, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 6, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015, in Pinecrest Baptist Church, 1285 Ashley Hall Road at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. SC.Lois was born September 9, 1914 in Ehrhardt, SC, daughter of the late Laurie R. Clayton and the late Anna Clayton. She spent most of her life in Charleston, SC. She cherished her family and enjoyed playing the piano. She is survived by her three daughters, Catherine Rogers, Rita Clark (Abe), Sandra Schaffer, her sons, Gerald Padgett, Jr. (Delores), Jimmy Padgett (Lonnie), Charles Padgett, Donald Padgett (Laurie); seventeen grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and sister, Hannah Beard, many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald G. Padgett, Sr., Homer Perry and her son Perry Padgett.
