Lois Turnbull Kronemer, 83, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be at a later date in the Monongahela Cemetery of Monongahela, PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 5:00 pm until the beginning of the service.

Lois was born April 5, 1932 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Theodore Turnbull and Dorothy Acker Turnbull. She was a 60 year gold star member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Mechanicsburg, PA Chapter). In 2006, Lois moved to Charleston to be near her daughter returning from assignment in Paris. Throughout her life, she worked with the Charleroi/Monessen Hospital in Admissions, Corning Glassworks in accounting, and the Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA as an Admissions Supervisor. Lois loved to travel the world, having visited special places such as London, Paris, Stockholm, Bali, Bermuda, Vienna, and Hawaii. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her Sunday Brunches with her daughter, visiting the Second Sundays on King Street, crafts, and all animals. Lois was known for her beauty, her sense of humor, and always being very fashionable.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Kronemer of Mount Pleasant, SC; her son, Alex Kronemer and his wife, Luby of Silver Spring, MD; her grandchildren, Sharif Kronemer, Zakary Kronemer, and Laila Kronemer; her brother, Ronald Turnbull and his wife, Patti of Nellysford, VA; and her two nephews, Chris Turnbull, and Mark Turnbull. Lois is also survived by her kitty, "Little Girl."

The family wishes to express a special thank you to her dedicated caregivers and angels in training, Consquella, Mieosha, and Brittany. Also the family would like to thank Treg Monty and Ray Wrenn for their meaningful Sunday gifts of music and inspiration.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lois' memory to St. Michael's Church, 71 Broad Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
