Entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2011, Lois Adcock Davis, widow of Robert Downey Davis, Sr. Residence, Johns Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Lois A. Davis are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Monday, November 7, 2011, at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Mrs. Davis was born December 4, 1930 in Hickory, NC a daughter of the late Jesse Lee Adcock and Dora Ann Helms Adcock.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Shephard and her husband, Timmy of Charleston, SC and Rhonda Austin and her husband, George of Johns Island, SC; three sons, Larry S. Davis and his wife, Pat of Summerville, SC, Steven E. Davis, Sr. and his wife, Melva of Johns Island, SC and Robert D. Davis, Jr. and his wife, Darlene of North Charleston, SC; one brother, Ralph Adcock of Hickory, NC; 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
