Lois Moorer Browder

July 20, 1935 — March 15, 2016

Lois Moorer Browder, 80, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Archibald B. Browder died Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 in James Island Presbyterian Church, 1632 Fort Johnson Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Lois was born July 20, 1935 in Saint George, South Carolina, daughter of the late Van Buren Moorer and the late Roberta Westbury Moorer. She was a retired Department Head Secretary for SPAWAR and a member of St. Barnabas Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, two sons: A. Bernard Browder, Jr. of Summerville, SC and Jay Browder and wife Kelly of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren: Caleb, Carly and Colton Browder; and several nieces and nephews.
