Lois Vivian Armstrong

Lois Vivian Rawls Armstrong, 94, of Charleston, SC, widow of Clement Durr Armstrong, Sr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 6, 2016. Her Requiem Mass will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016, in Church of the Holy Communion, 218 Ashley Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Lois was born July 17, 1921 in Hemingway, SC, daughter of the late James Matthew Rawls and Carrie Belle Huggins Rawls. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of The Holy Communion.

She is survived by two sons: Clement D. Armstrong, Jr. of Charleston, SC, and Robert Stanley Armstrong, Sr. (Dale) of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Lori Armstrong Lisle (Gene) of Altamonte Springs, FL; sister, Ruby R. Williams of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren: Robert S. Armstrong, Jr., Christopher E. Armstrong, Jason B. Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, Tony Armstrong, Alicia Armstrong, and Thomas Moran; and six great-grandchildren: Vivian Webb, Ryleigh Moran, Paislee Armstrong, Madison Armstrong, Megan Armstrong, and James Robert Armstrong.
