Lloyd Arthur Peterson

June 20, 1931 — July 31, 2010

     Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 31, 2010, Lloyd A. Peterson, husband of Arlene Peterson.  Residence, Summerville, SC.  The relatives and friends of Lloyd are invited to attend his memorial service in The Village at Summerville Presbyterian Home, on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at two o'clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

    

     Mr. Peterson was born June 20, 1931 in Frankfort, South Dakota the son of Marenus Peterson and Esther Peterson.  Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Peterson attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and served on various church committees.  He was a retired plant manager of Essick Manufacturing Company.


     He is survived by his wife of 53 years Arlene; sons, Tom Peterson of Hanahan, SC, and Bill Peterson and his wife Karen of Moncks Corner, SC;  sister; Anina Huff of Colorado,; four grand children, three great grandchildren. Lloyd is preceded in death by his daughter Kris Peterson, two brothers, two sisters and his parents


      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Village at Summerville Presbyterian Home Employees Appreciation Fund, 201 W. 9th North Street, Summerville, SC 29483 or Westminster Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund 1157 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, Charleston, SC 29407.
