Lisa Harris, 59, of Modesto, California formerly of Sullivans Island South Carolina, passed away on March 5, 2018. Her final resting place will be Hawaii.
Lisa was born on November 6, 1959 in Lafayette, Alabama, daughter of Margaret Tobin Short and the late Dr. William Buford Short Jr. After leaving Alabama she was educated in Hawaii and California.
Lisa went on to raise two sons, spending most of her years between Hawaii, California and South Carolina. Her passions were music and art. Lisa enjoyed her time as an art consultant in Hawaii.
She is survived by her sons, Travis Harris and Tyler Harris; mother, Margaret Tobin-Short; sisters, Dani Glass and Lori Short Shaefer, and brothers, William Short and Robert Short. Lisa was predeceased by her father Dr. William Buford Short Jr. and grandmother, Margaret Boehm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in Lisa's name to The American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
