Lisa was born August 27, 1954 in Rockville Centre, New York, daughter of the late Matthew Daniels Jr. and the late Carolyn M. Joch Daniels. With a remarkable career that spanned over three decades, Lisa dedicated herself to the education of countless students, instilling in them a love for learning that would last a lifetime. Her passion for teaching was matched only by her deep commitment to nurturing the growth and development of each child she encountered. Lisa also enjoyed moments spent over coffee with friends and family, where laughter and stories filled the air, reflecting her warm and engaging spirit. As a devoted grandmother, Mimi took great pride in her grandchildren, cheering them on enthusiastically. In retirement, Lisa embraced her creative side with her love for sewing, often crafting beautiful pieces that brought joy to her family and friends. Her hobbies extended beyond the sewing machine; she found immense happiness, creating treasured memories with her grandchildren that they will carry with them forever
She is survived by children: James Scott Aslan (Katie) of St. Cloud, FL., Jessica Ann Aslan Daily (Nicholas) of Hanahan, SC and Timothy Joseph Aslan (Megan) of Melbourne, FL.; grandchildren: Emme, Brodie, Lanie, Tryston, Stephen, Elijah and Mathias; siblings: Loren Daniels (Susan) of Teaneck, NJ, Jill LeClaire (Kenneth) of Hauppauge, NY, and Terresa Daniels (Jeannine) of Toms River, NJ; step-mother, Katherine Daniels of Beverly Hills, FL.; and many loved nieces, nephews, step-brothers, and step-sisters. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Stefan Daniels.
