Lipscomb III Julian Edmund

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of October 13, 2010, Julian Edmund "Bud" Lipscomb, III.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 12:00 noon in St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Interment, Bethany Cemetery will be private.

Bud was born October 16, 1951 in Jackson, Mississippi, the son of Julian Edmund Lipscomb, Jr. and Maryann Phillips Lipscomb.  He received a B.S. Degree from Texas Christian University and served with the United States Naval Seal Teams. He was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church. He was employed by the College of Charleston as a campus police officer.

He is survived by his daughter: Rebecca Ashley Lipscomb of Charleston, SC; one brother: Thomas Phillips Lipscomb of Bow, New Hampshire; one nephew and four nieces.
