Lindsey Taylor Ranz, 21, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Her memorial service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at Lowcountry Community Church, 801 Buckwalter Parkway, Bluffton, SC 29910 at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Charleston, SC.

Lindsey was born June 19, 1992, in Fountain Valley, California, daughter of Michael Joseph Ranz and Lynnette Messner Ranz. A graduate of Bluffton High School she was a student at College of Charleston. She was an active member of Lowcountry Community Church where she participated in a mission trip in Belize. Lindsey was a talented artist sculpting, drawing and playing the guitar. She was a model and a recent finalist in Charleston Modeling Week. She enjoyed spending time outdoors.

She is survived by her mother, Lynnette Marie Ranz and Rick Ramming of North Charleston, SC, father, Michael Joseph Ranz and his wife, Angelia of Fayetteville, GA; sister, Lauren Brittany Ranz of Charleston, SC, maternal grandmother, Dawn Darling of Englewood, FL; paternal grandparents, John and Margaret Ranz of Cincinnati, OH; and many aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Messner.
