Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 28, 2011, Linda Sharon Straley Welch. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend a Gathering of Friends, Friday, November 4, 2011, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL between 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.

Linda was born November 3, 1946 in Welch, WV, the daughter of Harry Clayton Straley and Eunice Ford Straley. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by one son, Cobert Desoto Welch, III of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Rita Young of Moncks Corner, SC, Anita Cuthbertson of Danville, CA and one brother, Harry M. Straley of Danville, CA.
