Linda Sharon (Straley) Welch

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 28, 2011, Linda Sharon Straley Welch. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend a Gathering of Friends, Friday, November 4, 2011, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL between 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.

Linda was born November 3, 1946 in Welch, WV, the daughter of Harry Clayton Straley and Eunice Ford Straley. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by one son, Cobert Desoto Welch, III of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Rita Young of Moncks Corner, SC, Anita Cuthbertson of Danville, CA and one brother, Harry M. Straley of Danville, CA.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 9302 Medical Plaza Drive, Ste. E, North Charleston, SC 29406.
