Linda Kay Nash, beloved wife of David "Dave" Raymond Nash, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Hanahan, SC. A graveside service to honor Linda's life will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery on 604 Fort Johnson Road, James Island. Funeral arrangements are being handled by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel, located at 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston.
Linda was born on February 14, 1949, in Urbana, Illinois, the daughter of the late Claude Richard Stewart and Lillian Faye Amos Stewart. She spent her early years on a farm in Illinois before her family relocated to Folly Beach. While living on Folly, Linda proudly graduated from James Island High School, loved spending her days on the beach and swimming in the ocean, and is where she met Dave . Throughout her life, Linda and Dave shared a passion for travel, exploring various parts of the United States from coast to coast creating cherished memories together. An avid reader and dedicated scrapbooker, Linda found joy in preserving memories and capturing the beauty of life. She cherished the time spent with family and created lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dave; their son, Tracy Nash, and his wife Carrie; and their three grandchildren, Riley Nash, Evan Nash, and Andrea Nash, who lovingly referred to her as Nana. She also leaves behind five siblings: Terry Stewart (Dave Lewis), Debbie Stanley (Bill), Richard Stewart, Diane Kaminski (Dan), and Peggy Breeland (Mark). Linda was preceded in death by her three siblings, Michael Stewart, Susan Swails, and David Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
During this time of grief, may the memories of Linda's vibrant spirit and loving presence bring comfort and solace to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
