Linda Harris Milligan passed on Saturday, June 28, 2025 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Linda was born November 18, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois. She was the third child and second daughter of Willie G. Harris Sr. and Mary L. Harris. She was predeceased in death by her loved and adored parents, brother Will "Bud" Harris Jr., sisters Joan E. Brothers and Jane E. Harris Swan, and nephew Zachary H. Brothers.

Linda enjoyed a childhood growing up on a farm surrounded by a loving family, friends, and animals of all kinds. She enjoyed playing sports and riding her ponies and horses. Throughout her life she was creative, organized, hardworking, funny, and thrifty. Her greatest joys were her two adventurous children Jim and Kelly.

Linda is survived by her adored, loving, and faithful husband Buddy Milligan, son Jim Jones, daughter Kelly (Earl IV) DuPriest, granddaughter Kelsey Jones, sister-in-heart Mary Harris (Mike), nieces Holly Harris (ED) Schott and Lindsey (Opher) Heyman, brother in heart Alan Brothers (Lara), great-nieces Kaia and Ayla Schott, and sister-in-heart Michele Decandio. Linda married into the Milligan clan in 2002 and was embraced by all, especially Sean and Dorothy Milligan and Andrew and Callie Milligan. She was nana to Sarah Grace, Mac and John Thomas Milligan and great nana to Carter, Mary Wynn, and Lucy Ann Milligan.

Linda was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Women's Guild, Greater Charleston Rotary Club Auxillary and the American Legion Auxillary Unit 147.

Special blessings and thanks to Dr.'s. Costa, Ivester, Jennings, Baird, Worthington, Moore, Frain, Gourdin, Hannegan, Fogle, Mitchell, Mindy, and the Roper Hospice Angels.

Linda's faith in the Lord was unshakable and carried her through all the blessings and tribulations that came into her life. Thank you Jesus.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 3, 2025, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 56 Center Street at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends following the service in Father Kelly Hall. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
