Linda Dowdee Marsh

Linda Dowdee Marsh, 74, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Dr. Richard A Marsh, entered into eternal rest Sunday, June 25, 2017. A private Celebration of Life will be held. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Born July 8, 1942 in Raleigh, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Elwood Dowdee and the late Dorothy Faison Dowdee. Linda retired from MUSC as a nurse and enjoyed reading and playing the guitar. She was a member of the choir at Seacoast Church.
A loving mother, sister, aunt, and doting grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her daughter, Tracy Meredith (Christopher); son, Christopher A. Marsh (Joni); brother, Jim Dowdee (April); five grandchildren, Maggie and Gibson Marsh, and Emma, Sophie, and Rhys Meredith; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Dowdee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seacoast Church, Mount Pleasant Campus, 750 Long Point Road Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
