Linda Martin Kirvin, 59, of St. Stephen, South Carolina, wife of the late Rev. Theodore Kirvin, Sr. died Monday, December 17, 2018. Her funeral service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road. The family will receive friends in the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Linda was born December 22, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Walker Martin, Sr. and the late Hazel Ruth Nesbitt Martin McClam. She worked at the Medical University of South Carolina for more than 20 years as a medical coder. As the wife of a minister, Linda was an integral part of the church; she served as secretary, worked in the children's ministry and taught Sunday School.

She is survived by son, Theodore "Teddy" Kirvin, Jr. (Jennifer) of Land O' Lakes, FL; daughter, Ashley Kirvin of Land O' Lakes, FL; four grandchildren, Eric Escobedo, Carmen Escobedo, Theodore Lee Kirvin and Everitt Lee Kirvin who lovingly called her Nana; three sisters, Jacqueline Kirvin, her twin Brenda Durrance and Pauline Utter (John), all of St. Stephen, SC; and two sisters-in-law, Patricia "Pat" Ann Martin and Barbara Martin, both of St. Stephen, SC; and many nieces and nephews who knew her as Ha-Ha. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers William Martin and John Walker Martin, Jr. and three sisters: Velma Cumbee, Sandra Gaskins and Donna Gaskins.
