Linda Kay Harris Hayes

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of January 22, 2011, Linda Kay Harris Hayes, wife of Richard Francis Hayes.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Hayes are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will be private.  Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Linda was born April 3, 1945 in Ottumwa, Iowa, a daughter of the late Carl Raymond Harris and the late Ione Linnie Foster Harris.  She was a retired owner/operator of a pest control company and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Michael Shawn Hayes of Charleston and Tony Lee Hayes of Largo, FL; two daughters, Melissity Quinnett Hayes of Charleston and Brenda Sue Coles of Kernersville, NC; three brothers, Gary N. Harris of Isle of Palms, Gene Harris of Kyle, TX and Greg Harris of Bloomfield, IA; eight grandchildren, Amy Hayes, Anna Hayes, Ashley Ratliff, David Ratliff, II, Mason Hayes, Xavier Coles, Dmitri Coles, Maya Coles; and three great grandchildren, Ayden Hayes, Landon Mallard and Easton Ratliff.
