Linda K. Copeland

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of Monday, January 9, 2012, Linda Kreider Copeland, wife of B. Earl Copeland, Sr. of Hanahan, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. B. Earl Copeland are invited to attend her funeral service in Northside Baptist Church, Thursday, January 12, at 10:30 am. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Northside Baptist Church Chapel, 7800 Northside Drive, on Wednesday, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Mrs. Copeland was born on, March 4, 1943 in Hanahan, SC, daughter of Elmo Horace Kreider and Grace Robinson McAllister Kreider. She graduated from Hanahan High School class of 61 and was a member of the Berkeley County Republican Party and Republican Women's Club. Mrs. Copeland was a former bank teller and teller supervisor for South Carolina National Bank, and retired as a school secretary for Northside Christian School. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church which held its very first service in the home of her parents, Elmo and Grace Kreider, in 1965.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, B. Earl Copeland, former mayor of Hanahan, SC; son Byron Earl "Ron" Copeland, Jr. and his wife Anita of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Lisa Copeland Coulter of Hanahan, SC and Kristine Copeland Bigham of Westminster, SC; three sisters: Lee Simpson of Newberry, SC, Rita Sica of Tamarac, FL and Hazel Sawyer of Land O Lakes, FL; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Derek and Lance Copeland, Lauren and Stacey Coulter, Cynthia and Katelyn Bigham; two great-grandchildren, Cameryon and Bentley Copeland. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Virginia Napier.
