Lilly Dennis Cressey

Lilly Dennis Cressey, 81, of Ladson, South Carolina, widow of Edward Fred Cressey, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 12, 2024. Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 S. Live Oak, Drive, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends in the Northwoods Chapel Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Lilly was born February 11, 1943 in Camden, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ernest Lucious Dennis and the late Lilly Mae Bass Dennis. Lilly enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards. When her husband was living they enjoyed Square Dancing and any kind of games. Lilly was a member of Goose Creek Baptist Church. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She is survived by two daughters: RaJean Legare (Kenneth) of Bonneau, SC and Rachel Slayman (Jason) of Ladson, SC; grandchildren: Christina Ford (Billy), Brittney Legare, Corey Slayman (Fernando), Nicholas Slayman, Matthew Slayman and Leann Slayman; great grandchildren: Kip and Tae Ford, sister: Gladys Dennis DeBruhal of Greenville, SC; niece, Sharon Collins of Moncks Corner and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lilly was predeceased by her brother, Jake Dennis.
