Lillian Jackson Wilson, 93, of Awendaw, South Carolina, widow of Henry Mills Wilson, Sr. died Sunday, December 6, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the Ocean Grove United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Lillian was born September 6, 1922 in Awendaw, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Walter Jackson and the late Florence Estelle Lynes Jackson. She was a member of Ocean Grove United Methodist Church and a retired teaching assistant in Charleston County Schools.
She is survived by her son, Henry Mills Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Pam of West Columbia, SC; daughters, Jennifer W. Wells and her husband, Jon and Gail W. Simms, and her husband, Michael, all of Awendaw; two sisters, Shirley Ackerman of Awendaw and Margaret Inabinett of Charleston; seven grandchildren, Barry, Brian, Chris, Lauren, Jessica, Baylee, and Zackery; and two great-grandchildren, Grady and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
