Lillian Clair Howard Northcutt, 99, widow of John Merrell Northcutt, of Summerville, SC, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012.
The relatives and friends of Lillian Northcutt are invited to attend her funeral service in J. Henry Stuhr, Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Lillian was born July 18, 1913 in Fairburn, GA, daughter of the late Samuel Howard and May Campbell Howard. She was a member of the Grace on the Ashley. She was also a loving mother, wife, and grandmother and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Mitchell (Jim) of Charleston, SC, Dianne Keefer of Ladson, SC and Melba Rush (Johnny) of Hanahan, SC; son, Robert Merrell of Kerrville, TX; sister, Bessie Sapp of Atlanta, GA; 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy June Rushmeyer.
