Lillian Williams McBride

Lillian Williams "Gram" McBride, 85, of Charleston, SC, wife of Ernest W. McBride, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, August 10, 2013 with family by her side. The relatives and friends of Lillian W. McBride are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, August 15, 2013 in J.HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday at Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel one hour prior to the service.

Lillian was born in Hinton, West Virginia on June 11, 1928, daughter of the late Ernest L. Williams and Grace L. Williams. She was a loving mother and wife.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years Ernest W. McBride; her children, Patricia M. Gartrell and her husband Robert, Ernest W. McBride, Jr. and his wife JoAnn, Ronald J. McBride and his wife Tammy, Jeffrey P. McBride and his wife Mindy; her grandchildren, Jon M. Parfrey, R. Shawn McBride, Jessie McBride and his wife Robin, Justin M. Parfrey and his wife Jamie, Jared W. Parfrey, Delanie McBride, and Austin McBride. Lillian is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, James A. Parfrey, Jr. and Shane T. McBride.
