Litchfield, Lillian Bonnett:  

On the morning of February 28, 2011, Lillian Bonnett Litchfield, wife of Julian Dempsey Litchfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a member of South Charlotte Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC., formerly of Mt. Pleasant, SC. now residing in Charlotte with her son and daughter-in-law. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Dempsey Litchfield are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL.  Entombment, Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's Mt. Pleasant Chapel Thursday, one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Litchfield was born July 27, 1926, in Columbia, SC, the daughter of JaDorse Bonnett and Nezzie Boyer Bonnett. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, of Charlotte, NC; one daughter: Kim R. Carter of Raleigh, NC; one son: Ted Litchfield (Gayle) of Charlotte, NC; four sisters: Hazel Crosby of Johns Island, SC, Margaret Domsch of Minnesota; Ruth Ballentine of Summerville, SC and Dorothy Canton of Johns Island, SC; and one brother: Harold Bonnett of Johns Island, SC 5 grandchildren: Gill Truesdale, Craig Litchfield, Janet Cooperider, Shea Cox, and Kristi Koller and 6 great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by a daughter Peggy Truesdale.
