Lillian "Lilly" Thackeray Milner, 93, of Ladson, South Carolina, wife of the late Theodore C. Milner, Jr. entered into eternal rest Friday, April 27, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be Monday, April 30, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Monday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel one hour prior to service.

Lillian was born December 30, 1924 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Robert Thackeray and Georgie Thackeray Ritts She was a graduate of Rivers High School and was one of the first police women to serve the City of Charleston Police Department. She was married to her former spouse for 49 years.

She is survived by three daughters; Barbara Gayle Milner of Ladson, SC, Cleo "Bunny" Hamorsky-Anglin (Tommy) of Augusta, GA, Connie Smith (Phillip Sr.) of Round O, SC; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and loving nieces, nephews and friends.
