Lillian Ina Sanders Boyd

Lillian Ina Sanders Boyd, 80, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Clarence Boyd, Jr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 19, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday February 23, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Lillian was born January 4, 1937 in Bay Minette, Alabama, daughter of the late Union Horace Sanders and Velma Elizabeth Greene Sanders. She was a retired Bookkeeper for Boyd Dental Lab, and a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clarence Boyd, Jr.; two daughters, Rebecca Salisbury (Curt), Linda Darrington (Mark); son, Eddie Kevin Boyd (Kathy), and five grandchildren, Gary Fuseler, Anna Fuseler, Lillian Darrington, Rachel Boyd, and Kevin Boyd all of Charleston, SC. She was predeceased by her brother, Union H. Sanders, Jr., and two sisters, Nell Nelson and Dealie Hudson.
