Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 23, 2011, Lila Bunch Rowell, widow of James Edward Rowell. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Thursday, December 29, 2011 in Charlestowne Methodist Church at 1:00 pm. Interment, Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at J. Lila was born February 21, 1920 in Summerville, SC, the daughter of David Henry Bunch and Elizabeth Bee Bunch. She was a member of Charlestowne Methodist Church. She retired as a salesperson from Condon's Department Store, Infant Department.

She is survived by three sons: David E. Rowell, James R. Rowell (Dean) both of Charleston, SC, Gene R. Rowell of Florence, SC; one daughter: Kathy R. Lukow (Terry) of Hebron, CT; daughter-in-law, Paula Rowell of Charleston, SC; eight Grandchildren: David, Marty, Jason, Elizabeth, Michael, Megan, Kate and Jennifer; 12 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and one sister, Rosalie B. Doar of Warner Robins, GA.
