Entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 8, 2012, Lila S. Miller, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Miller are invited to attend the graveside funeral service of Mrs. Miller at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 2 pm. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Saturday from 5 pm until 6 pm.

Born August 23, 1929 in McBride, MI, Lila was the daughter of the late Alva Louis Sherwood and Margaret Lancaster Sherwood. She attended Central Michigan University and was a teacher for more than 40 years. She taught for the Department of Defense and also taught in the Charleston County School District.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, George W. Miller of Charleston and daughter, Whitney Miller of Lansing, MI.
