Levita Maxine Smith Bouzianis, 84, of Hollywood, South Carolina, widow of Major George P. Bouzianis entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street at 1:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial services will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Beaufort National Cemetery at noon. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.Maxine was born September 25, 1936 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Benjamin Smith and Myrtle Baker Smith. She was a career military spouse and was married to Major Bouzianis for over 60 years. Maxine is survived by her daughters: Cynthia D. Chaplin and Sandra B.
