Leroy Kennedy, Jr., 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Mary Lou Stanley Kennedy entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The family will receive friends Friday, April 13, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell parkway from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Leroy was born October 25, 1931 in Pamplico, SC, son of the late Leroy Kennedy and Janie Modene Haselden Kennedy. He was the owner of Hampton Printing and Office Supply.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou Kennedy of Charleston, SC; a son, three daughters, Julie K. Hudson of Charleston, SC, Janet R. Whitney of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Donna J. Benoit, of Summerville, SC; brother, Kenneth Gene Kennedy of Hermitage, TN; sister, Nellie K. Hartsoe of Columbia, SC; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
