Leroy Campbell

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of April 5, 2012, Leroy Campbell, husband of Lillie Evans Campbell, of Summerville, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Campbell are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Monrovia Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Campbell was born February 25, 1947 in Wadmalaw Island, SC, a son of the late Titus Campbell and the late Henrietta Brown Campbell Gadsden. He served as a General Contractor in South Carolina for over forty years.

Leroy is survived by his loving family including his wife of Summerville, SC; 2 sons, Titus Campbell and Timothy Campbell, both of Summerville; 6 daughters, Darlene Mikell (Henry), Antolene Mack (LeBeau), Demetria Washington (Mark), all of Charleston, Anita Blie Jenkins, Laronka "Trice" Garrett (Keanen), Shaniqua "Sheena" Nicholas (Melvin), all of Florida; 2 brothers, Willie Campbell and Bishop Arthur Campbell, both of Charleston; 5 sisters, Mary C. Williams, Elizabeth Prioleau, Nancy C. Maxwell, Ann C. Sanders and Patricia Gadsden, all of Charleston; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
