Leota Imogene Holdridge, 85, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Gene P. Holdridge, died Monday, October 24, 2016. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the Seacoast Chapel, Mount Pleasant Campus, 750 Longpoint Rd., at 11:00 a.m.
Leota was born October 18, 1931 in Mountainair, New Mexico, daughter of the late Arthur D. Garrison and the late Alma Brigance Garrison. Following high school, she lived in Albuquerque, NM, met Gene and they married in 1954. They moved to Tulsa, OK in 1960 where she was an executive assistant with CITGO Petroleum for over 40 years.
In addition to her husband of 62 years, Gene, she is survived by her daughters, Julie H. Walker of Mount Pleasant, SC and Jan Bradford (David) of Little Rock, AR; grandsons, Thomas Walker (Stacey) and Philip Walker (Gabrielle); sisters, Shirley LaFlamme and Francine Ptak; and brothers, Reuben and Gaylen Garrison.
