Leonard John Maloney, 73, of Moncks Corner, SC, husband of Frances Helen Suder Maloney died Monday, July 28, 2014. His funeral service will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 7:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Leonard was born June 24, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late John Joseph Maloney and the late Anna Hetel Maloney. Leonard was a US Marine Corps veteran and formerly worked for the County of Delaware as Director of Personnel and Emergency Management before he retired to South Carolina. He enjoyed golf and boating.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Fran Maloney of Moncks Corner, SC; son, Matthew Maloney and his wife Joanna; daughter, Tracey Williams and her husband Allan; all of Goose Creek, SC; brother, Mark Maloney and five grandchildren.
