Leonard Loeser, 80, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 9, 2015.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, at 3:30 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.
Leonard was born August 13, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Harry Loeser and Betty K. Cohen Loeser. He was the retired owner of Charleston Jewelry Buying Service on King Street. Prior to settling in Charleston, he was a restaurateur in Toledo, Ohio. Leonard honed his cooking skills in the US Navy serving as a chef.
He is survived by his two sons, Sean David Loeser and Scott Loeser; daughter, Deborah Bindeman; and ten grandchildren: Shaina Bindeman, Melissa Bindeman, Rachael Loeser, Seth Loeser, Benjamin Loeser, Jacob Loeser, Ephraim Loeser, Hannah Loeser, Barry Loeser, Michelle Loeser; and one great-granddaughter, Lauren Loeser.
