Enter into eternal rest the evening of Thursday, October 27, 2011 Leonard C. Gaines, Jr. Residence, Summerville, South Carolina. Funeral services for Leonard will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Old St. Andrews Episcopal Churchyard. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Born March 14, 1937 in Chester, South Carolina, he was the son of Leonard C. Gaines and Catherine Blanchard Gaines. Leonard will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Mr. Gaines is survived by his brother William "Billy" B. Gaines of Charleston.; niece: Adina Garner and husband Greg and their children, Hunter and Ellie; nephew: Tron Gaines and wife Becky and their children, North and Saylor.
