Leonard Owen Brown, Jr., 66, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 24, 2013, at his home at Edisto Beach, SC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Folk Funeral Home in Williston, SC. Burial will be private.

Len was born January 27, 1947 in Oak Ridge Tennessee, the son of the late Leonard Owen, Sr. and Edna Vail Brown and raised in Springfield, SC. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Springfield, SC.

He served his country in the US Air Force from 1969-1973 and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1974. He had a successful career, retiring in 2001 as a Consulting Partner with Accenture in Houston, TX. Len enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

Len is survived by his wife of 44 years, Loxie; daughter Daphne and grandson Trevor, all of Edisto Beach; brothers Jim (Phyllis) Brown of Maryland; Jerry (Leslie) Brown of California, a number of nieces and nephews and special loved ones in Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Odyssey Hospice, 5965 Core Avenue, Suite 603, North Charleston, SC 29406, and/or a charity of one's choice.
