Leon B. Williams, 84, husband of Dolores Jones Williams of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 25, 2012. The relatives and friends of Leon Williams are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the OD Beach Club, North Myrtle Beach, SC at 11:00 am. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT LOCATION.

Leon was born April 25, 1928 in Florence, South Carolina, son of the late Gabriel Walker Williams and Rena Elliott Williams. He was a Executive Vice President with Jeff Hunt Machinery Company. Leon was one of the original Founding Fathers for SOS, was the third inductee into the Shaggers Hall of Fame and also started the Old Timers Shag Club, all of North Myrtle Beach,SC.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dolores J. Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Rudy L. Williams and his wife, Sally, of North Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Jovette W. Powell of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandsons, Rudy L. Williams, Jr., Brian Williams and Brandon Powell; one sister, Vera Stevens of Florida.
