Leon Edward "Eddy" Mullis, 67, of Awendaw, South Carolina, husband of Jean Seyle Mullis entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 9, 2021. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Due to Covid-19 concerns all services will be private. Eddy was born December 7, 1953 in York, South Carolina, son of the late Leon Bratton Mullis and Betty Falls Mullis. He retired from the Town of Mount Pleasant, Public Services Department. Eddy was an avid hunter, softball player, and had a strong faith in God.In addition to his wife, Jean, he is survived by his son, Justin Mullis (Kristen) of Travelers Rest, SC; brother, Stanley Mullis (Anna) of York, SC; sister, Wanda Thickens (John) of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Chase, Mabry Anne, and Mallory; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to East Cooper Meals on Wheels, 2304 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466.
