Leo Connor Merrithew

Leo Connor Merrithew, 89, of Charleston, SC, widow of Edward C. Merrithew, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 8, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 12, 2015, at the mausoleum in Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Sunday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm.
Leo was born September 28, 1926 in Olanta, South Carolina, daughter of the late Judson Leo Connor and Jamie Locklair Connor. She was a registered nurse with the VA Hospital and member of MUSC Alumni Association.
She is survived by her three sisters; Betty C. Senn of Clemson, SC, Jackie C. Moore of Charleston, SC, and Merlee C. Knight of Goose Creek, SC. She is preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Connor Renau, and a brother, Arlie J. Connor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the MUSC Alumni Association for Nurses, 268 Calhoun Street MSC 182, Charleston, SC 29425-1820.
