Leo Harrylee Evans

Leo Harrylee Evans, 74, of Bonneau Beach, husband of Arlys L. Evans died Wednesday, August 5, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:00 p.m. Entombment, Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Leo was born September 19, 1940 in Coward, SC, son of the late Samuel Leo Evans and Mary Evelyn Evans. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a Shriner and a Mason.

Leo worked as a car salesman at Jones Ford for many years.In addition to his wife, Arlys, he is survived by his children, Leo Harrylee Gressette, Jr. (Laurie), and Randy Evans, Debra Kline (Bill), Jeff (Terri) and Mark Strehlo; grandchildren, Alicia Walker, Brandon and Harrylee Gressette, and Clayton Evans, Salina Devolin, Danica Meyers; Nick, Ben, and Alex Strehlo; Kortney Kline and Rachael Schwartz (James); and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Vindel Helen Swanson.
