Lena Mae Beaver, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of Ray Howard Beaver, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012. A Graveside Service will be held later in Clarks Grove Cemetery, Alcoa, TN. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Lena was born May 10, 1923 in Greenback, Tennessee, daughter of the late Samuel George Lambert and the late Laura Alice Thompson Lambert. She was a homemaker and a member of the Triangle Bowling League, Senior Olympics, and the Mount Pleasant Senior's Center.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Hoffman (Mark) of Charleston, SC, and Debbie Wood (Don) of Visalia, CA; a sister, Barbara Onks of Smyrna, TN; a granddaughter, Caroline Leigh Carter of Charleston, SC; two great-grandsons, Rylan Priester, and Logan Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
