Lelia Lea Mudd, 98, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of John Henry Mudd, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 22, 2017. The Rite of Christian Burial will be held at Christ Our King Catholic Church on October 2, at 9:00 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be held at National Memorial Cemetery, Falls Church, VA at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Lelia was born April 7, 1919 in Danville, Virginia, daughter of the late George Weldon Lea and Willie Warren Lea. She is survived by two daughters, Debra (Terry) Rogers of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Joanne (Brian) Bentley of Littleton, CO; one son, John H. Mudd, Jr. of Cross, SC; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
