Lela M. Plemmons

Lela Terhune Plemmons, 89, former longtime resident of Rome, GA, the widow of James Victor Terhune, Sr. and R. T. Plemmons, died Monday, December 20, 2010 in Hanahan, SC.

Born July 19, 1921 in Douglasville, GA she was the daughter of John Lucious Brown and Bertha Camp Brown. 

Mrs. Plemmons is survived by her son, Joel C. Terhune and his wife Alice of Ladson, SC;   grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John L. Brown, Jr.; son, James Victor Terhune, Jr.; and daughter Carolyn Terhune Fricks.

The graveside funeral service will be held in Floyd Memory Gardens in Rome, GA 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 28, 2010.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., Charleston, SC.
