Lee Charles Glidden

Lee Charles Glidden, 60, of Ladson, SC, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, peacefully at home.

Born September 26, 1950 in Wolfeboro, NH he was one of five children of Charles Albion Glidden and Marjorie Letteney Glidden.  He was a member of the DeMolay Society in Wolfeboro, NH. Mr. Glidden was a veteran of the US Navy and USAF Reserve.  He was a former civil service employee at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and has worked as a supervisor for 17 years with SBG - EEG Environmental Services. He was a member of Northwood Baptist Church.

Mr. Glidden is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon Glidden of Ladson, SC; sons:  Nicholas Lee Glidden and his wife Heather, Mathew Lee Glidden and Brian Lee Glidden all of Ladson, SC; brother, Stephen Charles Glidden of Manchester, NH; sisters:  Christina G. Boisvert and her husband Kenneth of Deltona, FL, Lois Ann G. Friend and her husband Rick of Tuftonboro, NH and Jennifer G. Rogers of Florence, AL; grandchildren:  Alysa Kulesza, Preston Davis, Brandyn Glidden, Nathan Glidden and Brayden Davis; aunts and uncles and their families in New Hampshire.

The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Friday, February 4, 2011 beetween 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.  The memorial service will be held in Northwood Baptist Church, Friday, February 11, 2011 at 3:00 PM.
