Lazaro Villanveya Benavides, 30, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 4, 2021. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 9 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 10 in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Parkway at 11:00 am. For your safety, masks and social distancing are required.

Lazaro was born August 3, 1990 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Doralilia Villanueva.

He is survived by his fiancé, Ingrid Diazleal; children, Kaden, Mckenzie, Kaela, and Ivy; sisters, Ana Lilia Tovar, Candy Benavidez, Maria Marquez, and Blanca Villanueva; brother, Rigoberto Benavidez; aunt, Eustolia Marquez; and an uncle, Tene Villanueva. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doralilia Villanueva, and grandmother, Eustolia Villanueva.
