Lawrence P. Doyle, III, 79, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, husband of Ruthann Peterson Doyle, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 13, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Lawrence was born September 30, 1946 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, son of the late Lawrence Patrick Doyle Jr. and the late Marie Bores Doyle. Lawrence attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering. Lawrence built a distinguished career in the plastics industry, where his leadership and expertise led him to serve in executive roles overseeing business operations internationally. Through dedication, innovation, and a strong work ethic, he advanced within the industry and helped guide companies on a global scale.

He will be remembered for his professionalism, vision, and the impact he made on the lives of his colleagues and more importantly of his family. Lawrence loved his family dearly and supported them in every way he possibly could.

He is survived by his wife, Ruthann Peterson Doyle of Isle of Palms; son, Lawrence Patrick (Kimberly) Doyle IV of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren, Fiona Christine Doyle, Erin Elizabeth Doyle, adn Lawrence Patrick Doyle, V.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel John Doyle, and his grandchild, Gabriel Ivian Doyle.
