Laury "Larry" Serrano, Jr., 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Sharon Rose Kestler Serrano entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 19, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 inJ. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Beaufort National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday in the Downtown Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Larry was born November 21, 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts, son of the late Laurentino Serrano and Petra Augusto Serrano. He retired from the U.S. Navy and served during Vietnam.

Larry is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharon; two step-children: Mary Cruzan of Providence, RI and Charles Cruzan of Charleston, SC; niece, Carol Hollins of MD; and cousins: Aura Priegue of Englishtown, NJ and Frank Fotomayor of Plymouth Rock, MA.
