Laurann I. King, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Wesley Clay King, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 am. Burial will take place Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Florida National Cemetery at 11:30 am.

Laurann was born July 31, 1935 in McLeansboro, Illinois, daughter of the late Donald Irvin and Rella Allen Irvin. She taught preschool for over 20 years and loved her little ones dearly. After retirement she moved to New Port Richie Florida. She loved snowmobiling, traveling, and had a million friends. You always felt welcome in moms home. Mom even had a pet gecko out on her screen room that she gave water to. 

She is survived by her son, Wesley King; (Barb): daughter, Wynn Hardy (Don); and son, Brett. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made in Laurann's memory to Tunnel to Towers.
